Future Technologies of Mozambique (FTM) is a Mozambican company that develops digital and technological solutions to support the transformation of the agricultural, financial, and social sectors. Among its programs are Agrichain, Paga, and the Single Producer Card.
The Card will be available to all farmers registered with the Ministry of Agriculture, including small producers, cooperatives, and agricultural associations. Issuance and distribution will be carried out through the SDAEs (District Economic Activity Services) and agricultural development companies.
Paga is a mobile account that offers eligible producers an initial agricultural credit of 10,000 MT. The credit can be used with authorized agrodealers to purchase inputs. After selling their produce, farmers can continue to use the account for everyday digital payments.
Agrichain is a technology platform that connects farmers, cooperatives, distributors, and markets, ensuring traceability, transparency, and efficiency throughout the agricultural value chain. The goal is to facilitate access to markets, reduce losses, and increase productivity using IoT, blockchain, and data analysis.
