A mobile account with subsidies for producers

What is Paga?

Paga is an innovative mobile account system that provides initial agricultural credit to small and medium-sized producers, helping them to invest in their production and strengthen their integration into the formal market.

Paga is a program from Future Technologies of Mozambique (FTM) that facilitates access to agricultural credit through a mobile account. Created for eligible and registered producers, the system guarantees immediate access to subsidies and promotes greater financial autonomy.

How does it work?

  • All eligible registered producers receive a Paga account.
  • Each account comes with an initial credit of 10,000 MT.
  • The credit can only be used with authorized agricultural dealers.
  • After selling cotton or other products, producers can continue to use the Paga account for other digital payments.

  • Check that you are registered as a producer.
  • Confirm your eligibility for credit.
  • Please wait for your Paga account to be activated.
  • Use the credit to invest in agricultural production.

Special Conditions

In the 2025/26 campaign, the credit will have:

  • Zero tax rate for producers in development networks.
  • 5% interest for independent producers.
